Once upon a time there was an ambitions Crypto founder (John) who was passionate about changing the way the financial world functioned, so he created a Blockchain that would allow people in 3rd world countries to have access to the latest and greatest financial products as he believed this was the only way humanity would ever bring everyone out of poverty.
Every day he and his team worked with the best economists, NGO’s, Cryptographers and tokenomics gurus to create a platform that would make these people's lives better.
One day John got to the office all filled with energy and excitement ready to change the world for the better. He opened Gmail and saw a strange email, it was from his companies bank. Click… “Dear John, thank you for your business over the last 2 years, we regret to inform you that your account will be close at the end of the month (a.k.a in 5 days), please transfer your funds to an alternative account.”
Because of that, John’s head exploded… How am I going to pay my team? Oh shit what about the rent, lawyers etc.
Because of that, John’s day of discovery, experimentation and learning how to improve the world just got derailed!!
Because of that, the men and women in the 3rd world's problems just took a back seat for the foreseeable future.
John could not let his happen so he went on the offensive, he reached out to his network, did online research and didn’t let up for 2 solid weeks. Unfortunately no luck, his bill were piling up, his team were having issues paying their rents etc… It was a truly horrible few weeks! But he kept going, kicking over every stone, calling in every favour…
Until finally he found not 1, not 2 but 3 banks who were all willing to support his companies mission.
Ever since then John has been able to sleep well knowing that having 3 banks who support his companies mission means he will never have to be distracted from his mission again, his team will never be in financial difficulty again and the vulnerable people he is trying to help will get his companies full undivided attention and their lives will get better sooner rather than later…
